I'm going to build a 2180 for my Thing, from parts I mostly already have. I'll use stock DP heads ported by me and a bugspray Carb. I have 2 mild cams and don't know which one would be best. One is a new CB 2238 and the other is a good used bugpack 4061. They seem to be very similar except the 4061 has. 050 more lift.
Any suggestions?
Thanks, Chuck

Post up the specs and applications, but I'd probably go with the higher lift cam.

You'll be happy with the engine.

The 4061 is 234 degrees at. 050 and .396 lift.
The 2238 is 236 degrees at. 050 and. 350 lift.
Thanks, Chuck
