Thanks. Sometimes peoples orders fall on days that I'm doing shipping and others fall on days after doing a ton of shipping many days and I need to do other things like restock raw materials, work on new products or make products....

I'll be at Syncrofest in Hollister, Ca. on the 19th & 20th, then driving over the Aromas at Red Barn that Friday evening to do that show on Sat. and then driving up to Kelley Park to do that on Sunday the 22th. I hope I don't smell too bad by then....ok, I'll get a hotel or 2 in between those camp outs.

I was thinking it will be the first Bay area VW events that I have been to in maybe 10 years?

I'll be in my Faded White Ford van and if you need to order something now, please PM on here or [email protected]

It will take me 2 days to get back and recover..... Wink So if you order something during that time, it will take longer to get it out. Very Happy

Last week the business was finally a little slow so I did a fair amount of prep work finishing the VANAGON long and rear seat 1/4 panels masters and they should be available soon.... Wink

Thanks! Sometimes buyers catch me when I'm doing that type of shipping that day and other times....I just finish a couple days of doing that and need to spend time getting raw materials & making products to fill orders.

A new and recent change at PayPal is screwing with me....

If PP received a non greedbay payment, they now have a link next to it as "Issue refund" instead of a "Print shipping label" link like before. I look for the "Print shipping label" link to know if I have already ship an item out or not.... Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad

Then PP if it is a Greedbay paid item....they have a "Print shipping label" link there but even after you ship the item out and post the tracking number to the items main page...the "Print shipping label" link still is there..... Twisted Evil Evil or Very Mad
They want you to click and post the tracking number many times.....

So Bare with the sellers that don't get your items out fast and politely ask them after 2 weeks if the items has been shipped or PP is screwing with them...

ordered a set of hoods seals on 11-4-12 they where here on the east coast on the 9th can,t ask for better service thats for sure , have yet to install them but they sure look top notch! Thanks Don

Thanks. AS you did and sometimes others catch me on the day they order that I'm doing that shipping service and I can get them out fast (plus the fast Priority USPS I use) then they get it very fast.

Sometimes I may have done a day or two of that shipping service and have other orders to go out UPS but it may take a day or 7x (rare but when I'm buried in paid orders and may need to make some parts) to get to them for ready for shipping.

I want to take a minute to wish all my former and current customers a Happy New Year! Wink

I did take some of the Holidays time off to recharge myself (I did finish the VANAGON long panel master, most of the work for the rear seat masters too and finally clean up the machining center....first time in 3 years a real clean up) and I hope the current customers that ordered parts over the Holiday can understand their orders will go out in order of placed ordering asap! There's lots of them....and I'm only a 1x man operation.

Head's up...the ABS Bus interior panels (.090" and .125" thick panels) will be going up around $5 per part number around Sunday 2/24/13 as last year I had 2x cost increases that I sucked up and looks like another one is coming soon too.

Order now and save....as after the ads prices have been changed. Crying or Very sad

Does not stand by his work!! Has the worst customer service skills and is a liar.

Werksberg you know what im saying is true.

Im so very disgusted I have to report this to the thesamba peeps. Some back ground. I have bought a few of Werksberg products in the past with out issue, probably because i got most threw busdepot and they know how to do professional business.

The story begins over a month ago when i placed my order. I ordered engine bay panels for my two buses a 71 and 79. The ordering was the easy part. Over 1 month later the items where shipped. No worries as I do show quality restorations and I know things take time, exspecially if done right. Well during this month period Werksberg was nice enough to email me a few times apologizing for the delay. No worries i would reply. First delay was material shortage, second delay was a part time employee issue, third delay was a big order getting ready for a show. Each time Werksberg emailed me I said no worries I can wait for quality product. Anyways they finally shipped over a month later. The day the showed up I unpacked everything to inspect. The box was not torn, bent, scratched no damage to outside package. Upon unpacking items I noticed on small part in the order was damaged. The product is a composite wood and in one section in was peeled or delaminated from manufacturing. This was not shipping or me dropping it damage. Its obvious. SO I did like any customer would do I called the Vendor to ask for a replacement. Well this is where it got ugly.

As soon as Werksberg answered the phone he seemed bent outta shape. He would let me get a word in edge wise to explain what i was calling about. He rudely interrupted me several times as i was just trying to get my name out and what i had ordered. When he finally calmed down enough to hear what i was saying he stated he knew my exact order as he made the items himself. He went on to state the he knew of the damage prior to shipping and assumed that the area in question would cover up. He went on to state that maybe the damage was on the side that would show. I explained this is not the case. He then stated well if you paint the panels it wont show. I stated these panels do not get painted they were natural from the factory and thats how im keeping it. He then said if i were cutting the factory hole pattern in the panels that would cove it up. I said no the holes are not in that area to cover the damage. He then suggested that i should be worried as there so much in the engine bay no one would ever see it. I had to explain that this was unexceptible as this is a show quality bus and putting some damage item in the bus was not gonna happen. After all i have decent panel in there already and wanted perfect ones to replace them. So during this whole conversation Werksberg talking down to me with a elevated voice trying to get me just to except his sub-par workmanship. Werksberg in the begining of the conversation asked if i could send a picture to verify what we were talking about. Which i did promptly. I did state this wasnt a problem but i would not be taking any steps to hide the damage and was still requesting a replacement.

As soon as i asked Werksberg to replace the damaged part he started screaming saying something about it being a $40 part and hung up the phone on me. Very unprofessional.

Werksberg did not return my emails or phone calls to attempt to find a resolution to the situation. So I went to paypal and filled a complaint. It was only then he responded. Then the lies started flying. He stated on paypal i can send him the supposedly damaged part and he would inspect and determine then if he would replace. Come on. One this is total lie from what he had told me on the phone and then adding Its supposedly damaged, when he knew prior to shipping it was damaged. I have attempted to contact Werksberg on 5 different occasions now to resolve this professional. He refuses to respond to me directly. He just post lies on paypal.
Now Werksberg will say I filled a claim so he had no choice to resolve the issue threw paypal. This is somewhat true but I my hand was forced to file claim. He hung up the phone, would not respond to email, call, pm etc. Being that it took 5 weeks from when he already received my payment my window for filling a claim was closing. Paypal only give 45 days for this. Werksberg I guess expected me to be disrespected and hung up on as terms for part replacement, I took it as he wasnt going to deal with the issue.
Werksberg replied to one email which i will post if it comes down to it. That He was frustrated in my call because I didnt immedialtly spit out what i was calling about. Well if i may explain a little here. This is a little embarrassing but maybe needed to fully tell the story. Im handi-capped. there is said it. I have some physical challenges that cause me to be a little slow in my speech. Well this added to Werksberg frustration as he kept attacking me during the call as if I should have a script written for our call. I understand he is busy filling other orders but have some customer service when someone calling about a damaged part. Dont beat them up for studdaring or talking slow. Werksberg in his email to me said I he was frustrated as I was trying to tell him some life story. Far from the truth, and his email response was a winy complaining life story of his own,, from his cutting tools being destroyed, to shipping damage with others and now my problem. My life story was just explaining I could not use his damaged product in my show bus nothing more.

Im sadly having to write this today because i do not want anyone else to buy a product from this vendor and expect that if something goes wrong Werksberg will stand behind it. Sorry not the case. He has been deceitful to me in this transaction and that must be exposed. Buyer beware.
