I had a question, or perhaps a request. Does anyone have a picture of a vehicle that came with these stock, and removed for the photo? I would be interested in seeing the factory cutout.

I have pics of my Syncro 16" with flares removed. So this thread doesn't
get hijacked with 16" hijinx, I've posted the 16" arch cut-outs here:

The body kit on this vanagon is from Oettinger. But you can order the same thing tru KR-Styling:

I don't wanna hijack this thread so, if anybody has any info or other pictures on this amazing machine, so why not post it here:
Porsche engined Vanagon?

That's kinda my plan.

They look like the Vanagon / Trnasporter version of the Golf GTi Flares Cool

Fly me down or pay for fuel from Portland, I'll install them on your herd of Westies!

This is Van belongs to Andreas, it's a Claer creation. The flares on this awesome Westfalia are of the Tristar variety. Claer massaged these to fit due to lowering the van and trimmed them to fit the side cladding. Look closely you can still see the lowered section of the flare in the corners of the arch.

I'm in for front and rears, but also echo concerns re:

1) fit with rock guard sprayed on material, and

2) how they fit with SA mud flaps.

Can they be trimmed if necessary and still fit well?

They should easily fit with rock guard / bed liner.

Easily trimmed with a dremel drum sander attachment.

Are these now available to buy as a set for the fronts and rears?

Can I assume they would fit a Doka too?

Yes. They will be available as a front set first. The rear set will follow soon after.

These will fit any 14 inch van/truck. If you have side cladding or SA Mud flaps, some modifying will need taking place.

When the first proto-types are made, we will show how to install them on a couple different types of models.

Eric-- thanks for producing these and I would love to buy a front pair and the rear set when they are available.

I purchased a set of the rear 16" reproduction models from Mike for the back of my Tristar Syncro but would prefer to have the sturdier material that you are offering. Dancing

Damn you and your desirable goodies! Wink

You're going to tempt me with more and more accesories that I won't be able to ignore!

Let us know as soon as we can pay for the front flares!

Eric - just saw this tread. Count me in for a set of fronts and I'll gladly pay in advance to finance this project. Ditto for the LED driving light set-up. All looks great. And I'll pick up so no need for postage.

Regards,
