Hello All, I dont post much on here but i find information very helpful whenever i search. I Recently added "Lemon Drop" to my 1969 VW collection. I have never wired a radio up, as my other 2 still have the stock AM Radio.... This one came with a pioneer radio already in it, with the wiring. What is the best way for me to get power and get power and sound to the speakers? i have 1 Speaker in each door. Sorry if im not clear but help me out?

by looking at the wiring diagram for the car fuse 1 and 2 are switched power so hook the red wire from the radio to one of those and fuses 9 and 10 are constant power so the yellow wire will go to one of those, the gray wires are your right front and white is your left front, if i am wrong on the fuses i am sure someone will correct me

you have to have a hot power to the radio - you can get the 12 volts off of the power fuse panel or you can just run a hot wire from the battery -a fuse right there -then to a switch then to the radio. The ground wire can hook anywhere to steel underneath near the radio.
Key is on you have power - or flip the switch - you have power - should be a no 10 wire rout it carefully –
Here is a pic of my power switch
