I have been lurking for a long time after selling the Blue baja and thought I would finally post up what I have been up to. Hello to all I haven't seen in a long time. Started a blog to get caught up and to share the progress with friends and family who are not forum members. http://aarmthing.blogspot.com/ Made some milestones after buying the brakes to become a roller. I have to give Dan at Dansperformanceparts.com a thank you in helping select the brakes. I gave him the specs of the new car and he suggested the Jamar Pro-X series. He was very helpful and is very experienced with the parts aftermarket. He knows pretty much all the pros/cons of all the different manufacturers, gives you the information, and lets you decide what suites you best.
These are some beautiful pieces. The quality is second to none. Jamar is definitely Pro grade. I have seen all brands and the PRO-X's are giving them all a run for the market.
Here are the Micros: The coolest thing is from a fabrication standpoint. These do not require any standoff or protruding "hat" to mount on. This makes the arms easier to fabricate since all you need is the mounting plate to bolt on. as seen in the arm pic.

And just cause I am sure someone will ask, I am not paid nor given anything for plugging them. I just believe when you see a American company kicking out killer parts they deserve a compliment.

Here are the front. Easy install. Just welded on the bracket and bolted on. You can bolt on if desired. Doesn't get any easier.

Have been thinking about getting those myself.
There are a couple of others out there I have been looking at also.
Still probably a year away for me.

I have compared them myself and the rears were the decision maker for me. I was very impressed not a single finish blemish in any parts. The machine work is very fine. All the fillets and surfaces are flawless. Bearing fit is perfect. Very happy camper.

Here is where it now. The build can be viewed at the blog. Too many pics to update it all. Hope to have more progress soon after I finish another project.
