I assume by "splitty" you mean a pre-'53 Beetle with split rear window? Rather than a split font window bus?
Unless it was a custom built head it probably has an early single port head. Since you are posting in the '68-later forum I'm gonna guess you have a late single-port or a dual port engine. It might have helped if you provided more info on the engine you have installed. Look at the below pics and decide which type of intake/heads you have.
The chance an early set of dual carb single port intakes will fit your engine... pretty small. But the only way to know is to get the specifics... which year heads will the intakes fit? Single or dual ports? _________________ AshMan40

| If the split window bus had a dual port motor in it the manifolds should fit with no problems. Its' engine & yours would be pretty much the same. If the bus has the original motor then the manifolds would be different. |

Depending on the year, the split window bus would have been built with a 25 horse, 36 horse, 40 horse, or MAYBE a 1300 or 1500cc engine, but all of them would have had single port style heads. I'm not really up on the later ones as to whether they used the 1300 or 1500cc versions, and when they did what as far as switching to different engines on the buses. But I'm pretty sure they never built a split window bus with anything but a single port motor.
Is that what you needed to know? Or did you need more in-depth info? |

Just found out from the seller that the engine in his split is a 1641cc twin port. Nowvthat I have that information and all the advice from you lot it looks like the manifolds will definitely fit. Thanks to you all |
