I love green metal flake buggies. This thread is making me very jealous of all of you. I have seen the Moss Green on the Manxter and I would not have realized it was the same colour. It looks darker but I assume the Manx 2 has faded some over the years. It is definitely my New favorite colour.
Sadly I will not be able to pick this car up. I had thought that it was in Western Canada and was ready to jump on it but asking for the owners address I found out it is in New York (my mistake not his). My hunt for a Green Manx will have to continue.
Thanks for all the pictures

That's terrible that its not near enough for you to acquire. I'm sure there is one out there for ya! Perhaps there is someone closer that can save this cool buggy? I'm positive someone here would be interested! (I would if I was closer!) _________________ Or you can call me………Tim

The greens look awesome & put me in a bit of a quandary over what color I should go with on my project... one minute, I'm thinking 'blue', the next minute I'm thinking 'green'... then, the concept of 'white' & 'black' come up, or the wildcard 'orange'.

| With me it has always been green. But I flip flop on the different shades. I really like the coldfire and the Emerald but Moss Green is now my favorite. |

Well after all the talk on the green Manx and seeing it on the samba I gave the guy a call , and the Buggy happened to be only 70 miles away from me, so I took a ride out there a day before i left for manx on the banx's . I made an offer and he said he would have to consult with his wife to who the buggy belonged. I tried to leave a deposit but he would not take one.
So that night he text me and said i could have it.
I left for OBX and returned on Sunday night, and left on Monday morning to pick up the Moss green Manx 2.
The pan had seen better day and was completely rusted out , it had a bus motor on it with a bus transmission , motor was stuck , and the shorting job was the worst ever ! , plus no vin on the tunnel and no title ,so i left it and just took the body.
also came with a windshield, rollbar and nudge bar and a milk crate full of parts.
So not sure what i am go to do with this body , I may sell it , just wanted to rescue it before the body got worse, it was just sitting in the elements, hence , the hole in the hood from a tree limb falling through it.
I will post some pictures on a new thread.
Manx rescue! |

| I was wondering who would grab it. I would love to see more pictures once you have it cleaned up. The colour is awesome. |

| The color is a bit Faded , i think he may have taken pictures when it was wet, it gives it a shiny finish , it is better than alot I have seen , and it is not sitting in a pile of mud! |

I LOVE those old style toggle switches in FrizzardKing's dash!! Does anyone have a source for those today? _________________ www.LoCashRacing.org

My Manx II has a very similar dash insert as this one. Was that some sort of a standard for Manx II's?
