It has been done. The pre production seats have been fitted, a few corrections made and production is supposed to start soon if not allready. I have heard that the seat (shippable) will cost around 200 dollars (frame and springs) with grab handles of the correct year also available.
Still by the time you buy grab handles, foam/pads and upolstery you can well be into it for at least 500 plus dollars.

I hope that they are cheap enough that prices go down.
are the grab handles going to be sold sperately?

grab handles sold separately, some assembly required. if you order before midnight tomorrow, we'll throw in a set of reproduction kick panel rivets.

Ronnie, are they producing short and long seats? What about the different grab handle mounting styles, etc.? Very interested to know more, if this is for real. |
