Awesome you are going for the dual Shasta run Joe Cool! Interested to see how you like the geolanders and what new roads might be found if this dustbowl weather holds up. Might be the last Shasta if California catches fire this year and we have no water to put it out. Man we need some rain! |

Happy New Years Shasta folks. Going to do so much needed work on the pamper today. She gets her oil changed and valves adjusted once a year and today is the day. Was hoping for a mid tranny mount from Komi Haus will see. If the weather does not change this will be the shasta of tee shirts and shorts. The temp has not droped below 50 at my house in 2 weeks and i'm @ 3500'. How crazy is that? See you all very soon. _________________

SST PEEPS 2014!
Here we go again... The "7P" Proper Preparation Prevents Piss Poor Performance Party is this weekend at Vacaville Auto Body Center aka Skinner Classics VW Restorations. The event starts on Saturday at 9am and goes overnight until noon Sunday. Bring your sleeping arrangements & BYOBeverages!
ON THE AGENDA;
Rough structural pulls for full function on our frame machines, shake down & safety inspection on all the SST buses. Confirmation of your check-off lists & parts gathering.
POT LUCK LUNCH:
Please bring something to share with the group. Feel free to post what your bringing, so we don't double up. I will personally supply pizza for the group in the evening hours as the candle burns & we get our programs tightened up for the main event.
AVOID DANGER:
The shop can be a very dangerous place, so be on the top of your game and stay aware of what's going on. You see sparks flying, protect your eyes. Pulls on the frame machine, stay away until directed it's safe to approach. Thank you everyone for your full cooperation & understanding. _________________ Professional "SPLIT BUS" Restoration Services in Nor-Cal

Omigosh, it's raining the bay area today!
Wait, no, that's just some short-lived drizzle. I can't tell the difference anymore... _________________ 9th Owner of a 1971 Tintop Westy

I have chains and a 5 gallon NATO gas can to loan to a responsible party. The rub is you gotta pick em up in the Livermore area. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
