The Bentley says it is not adjustable, so is there an acceptable amount of play in the rack? I thought it was an inner tie rod going bad. I did not feel any looseness in the steering, but when I put it up in the air I felt a little play side to side in the wheel... Took the boot back to take a closer look and the rack gear is moving up and down when I push and pull... Is it time for a rack? It looks easy enough to change.
