Nathan, any particular reason you were web cruising around Belmont Shore? Particularly around Covina?
And I wonder if the person sitting in the nice early Bay hardtop is a Samba member. Anyone know?
Reason why is that the house with the green shade awning in front was my grandparents until around 1949 or 1950. No B.S., it's for real, got pictures and miles of memories and details. I lived with them off and on in the '40's and knew all of Belmont Shore like the back of my hand. There sure were no Bays or even VW's then. Wonder who that is and which particular house he lives in.

I was looking for buses of course.  Before I got my bus my girlfriend and I would drive around there and look for them, besides that being the best area to go eat.  I went up and down the side streets between 2nd and ocean, from I think its 54th street at the end of the strip to Termino where I used to live, -That's where most of them are in Long Beach. Compared to most places, there are a lot of buses in the LBC |

Friend of mines shop, been there for thirty years or more. The only person I trust to turn a wrench on my cars (if I dont do it myself) and a good resource for those in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area.

I saw the Google maps car in my little town this morning. I tried to follow it in my bus so I could get in a picture. Too many slow tourists got in between me and the car and I lost it. I really can't figure out how it eluded me in this small town with that big red sphere sticking 10 feet in the air!
