My next buggy is going to be one from Dans or a monster manx.. That reminds me I need to go buy a lotto ticket.
It is cheaper to buy a LS1 turnkey engine than build a bad ass VW that will never keep up. 91 octane fuel for the 410hp LS1 or 108 octane for the VW 300 hp. I am just thinking about the lesson I wish i learned before building my car..

Time sure does fly by... I was picking up my body from you when you were making the mid travel plug...
Should have waited but I still dig my car. Very Happy

Ellobo,

Great looking "manx" I am building one currently and I eventually want to finish it just like yours! Who's a-arm kit is that, or did you build it yourself?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Do you have a build thread? Or can you post or email me more pictures?

Thanks,
Jeremy

wow, thought I would bump this thread.
Started this body style at the end of 2005.
15 years later, we still produce 15 + bodys a year (sometimes more)
Minor fab stopped build chassis at the last economic downturn (around 2010)
Had another chassis guy try to produce more in 2014 (only made 3) was a pain in the but. Took 11 months to get 2 chassis's.
I am thinking about bringing this back with some new designs.
I need to find a good production chassis builder. Been having a hard time finding someone reliable and trustworthy.
We built over 60 chassis kits in the time that we made these, and well over 250 body kits over the years.
