Every SSC trans that was scrapped for the R&P had one, and a long arm. I'd call a trans builder. There should be quite a few around. If not then can also modify the one you've got.

The gold one has welds you can see but I would call them. They may offer to add some welds. Or call who you got the last one from. Either way make sure the welds are good or add them. you could just have your existing one re-welded. That is what I would do. It would take me 5 minutes to fix that.

Well I didn't think my little welder would have the penetration for the cross shaft, so I took modoks advice and called Rancho, explained what I had done. The guy was really helpful, said they use the same kit except they re-weld the cross shaft.
They appear almost identical, the clocking is a bit different so perhaps a different batch...

Who sells the press-in adapter collar? Need to get my T4 engine to work on my old swingaxle tranny. (1961 I think)
