I am trying to install my Fanchers R8 interior pop top insulation kit and was wondering about the snaps I need to screw into the pop top frame. I have an '84 where the canvas is stapled into the wooden frame of the top (major PIA to install, fyi). I am assuming this wooden frame is what the snaps need to be screwed in to, but the canvas is wrapped around this. Would it be OK to install the snaps through the canvas into the wooden frame? From the looks of it, stapling through the canvas to the frame is kind of the same thing. Any ideas? Leaving on a road trip tomorrow. Crying or Very sad

If the instructions were unclear, I'd ask Jonce.

I have his cell but may not get back here today to check.

Thanks. I gave him a call but haven't heard back yet. I guess I'm just wondering if it's ok to go right through the canvas. I suppose if the snaps are in there snug it shouldn't affect the integrity of the canvas too much.
