Yeah man I took it easy the past two days. I ordered the floor mats from WW and they will be here tomorrow so I realized that I had not fixed the area of the floor behind the walk thru wall. This was the reason I decided I should have bought a full cargo floor and had less work to do. So I will fix this with good floor metal I saved when I replaced what I did.

Second hole patch cut out. I wish I could buy this whole strip. I'm gonna have to build that ridge along the front to be closer to correct. This is the little stuff that shoulda been done a long time ago but I had been putting it off. Oh well better than a rust hole in the floor.

That's a perfect match. Fortunately I have all my seats and OG como green covers from C Smittys turkis 21 that was fully restored but good lookin out!

Yep I got it handled it just would have been a lot cleaner with new full cargo floors instead of percentage floors.

Does anyone have a good pic of the cargo floor of where I need to weld on the strips of metal and mounting points that the middle seat go to on the floor? I need to weld those in.

Skim I am using a Bay Window Middle Seat but here are some pics that may help. I have a full length seat and placed in after floors installed. Marked legs and then welded in seat mount brackets and floor mount reinforcement plates.
Used Inner and outer in factory floor placement with indentions. The 2 center were marked and welded. Hope this helps.
Bus is comin along nicely! Keep up the great work bud you are almost there.
I had to take a break but getting close myself. Be Easy!!

Interior almost complete. Will be posting some pics soon. Have you gotten your seats done? I am working a straight 48 at the station so will post my pics on monday God Willing. Be easy talk soon. |

Finished welding the two floor patches and thanks to Petes pics above, got my middle seat mounts all welded in. Brushed on some ospho on a few areas and once that's dry I can primer the floor then install my floor mat.

Finally floor is completely done, seat mounts welded in. Ospho treated. Polished out the walk thru mat retainer trims.
Installed the new cargo floor mat. Now I'm ready to cut the holes in the mat.

That mat is bright looking lol. Ive never had one that didnt have chunks break off every time I removed it haha. It you decide to cut and replace more of that floor. Ive have several donor pieces ive saved from floors removed. Sometimes you only needa patch. If so pm me. Free if you can use them. Cheers, Dave.
