This unknown fibreglass kit car body was found in Dakar, Senegal. I have no idea what it is and before I consider buying it can someone tell me what it is? I'm not sure if it was Beetle based.

Hard to tell a lot from that pic. but it looks like one of the Lancia Stratos clone kits. I've seen them in magazines at the big show (Stoneleigh?) over there in England. Might have been at least a couple of different manufacturing companies doing them..... If it is...looks like the rear is somewhat incomplete... |

There is a VW based kit car with very similar lines... Hard to say from picture if it's same one.... Might take stroll through Dune Buggy Archives to see if you can fine it...

cockpit area looks like a sterling nova or a sebring II. but the rear is to short |

I've seen this before, over 25 years ago... It's from England or Germany, as I recall. But I don't believe that it's VW based
