I have never seen that particular one or one that early but it looks very cool!

Are there any vehicle photos in it too?

I've seen those same pictures in a very early Der Berater brochures.

Good catch, it makes sense they would re-use some photos as needed.

Here's the Der Berater section on the site if anyone wants to compare photos or see it:

No vehicle photos, there is an illustration of a Beetle/Chassis separated. Adding a few pics here and there. This book would have pretty much outlined what you would need to get into place to build, staff and operate a new VW Dealership. Don't suppose a 92 page book would get you set up to run a new dealership, in 2018!

I added a few more books to the master list in the first post of this thread.

If anyone has one that is not listed there, please let me know so I can add it

My current list of dealers and distributors books.

The first three are not dated, 7/58 is an item number.

The ones with question marks are a couple that I think may possibly exist. They also might not exist. They represent the largest gaps in printing dates.

There are four styles through late 1967. I don't have enough of the 5th style which goes from late 1967 into the '80s to publish info on them yet, and I put very little effort into collecting them, so don't expect anything anytime soon on them.

Starting on the second publication of the third style, they have two dates, one in the front, one in the back. Sometimes they don't quite line up.

If anyone has something not on this list, please post it up. Also, please sell or trade it to me. I have plenty of spares to trade. I posted a wanted ad for ones that I need and ones that I have to trade.

A point of reference I found tonight:
I have an owner's manual packet for a Beetle with a VIN # from 12/1955

It has:
An Owner's Manual dated: 8/1955
A dealers & distributors book marked: 7/58a
