Well... that's about it really.
I took my Syncro in today, for its first MOT since I bought it. Always a tense time as, with a vehicle you've only recently acquired and not put through the test before, you never know what the testers might turn up. Or how the emissions measurements are going to go.
Anyway, I'm somewhat delirious to say, my wee metal buddy passed first go, with no problems noted at all.
Yay for Hermanito! :P

My only regret is that, after a particularly heavy session on my homebrew ale at the weekend, I promised I'd not drink for a week or two. Which is a bit unfortunate, given I'm in celebratory mode now! _________________ *****************************

Yep. I have a hell of a time getting my LT through every year. It sails through all the tests apart from the brakes, which it either fails or just scrapes a pass on, thanks to having drums at the rear and a load-sensing valve in the axle which means that [as if they weren't crap enough already] they only get 40% of the hydraulic pressure when the rear axle isn't under load.
So, every year I end up dismantling and buffing up the rear brakes and flushing them with fresh fluid, just to try and squeeze a couple more ounces of stopping power out of them to try and get it through.
So a massive bonus for the Syncro today; not being able to be tested on the brake rollers, because of the permanent 4WD. So they just tested its stopping power by driving it round their yard a bit and jumping on the anchors.
A much better system, if you ask me! :D _________________ *****************************
