Pre A sun visors restoration

Yesterday I´ve attended a local auto and scooter parts jumble and found what looks like either early VW or 356 sun visors. They are in a horrible state, rusty with flaking chrome, but think there´s still a chance to save them. I also hapened to have a pair of these, what looks like restored visors since a long time in my picture archives and they look among others to have fresh plastic inserts instaled, anyone have an idea where to get them?
I also suppose when refurbishing the visors, they have to be taken apart prior to re-chroming, but the rivets can´t be saved, anyone knows where to source these small original rivets?
There are two fasteners missing and when comparing with the restored ones, those fasteners look a bit different, any comments to that?
Any help on this subject will be much appreciated.
