I am having trouble with my new setup. I am running a 30PICT1 on my 1600SP with a 010 Distributor. It runs quite well, and is great fun to drive, but seems to vary a bit at idle and tires to die when I slow down or come to a stop. I tired pushing in the clutch at speed and it doesn't seem to die. Any ideas?
(Carb is just rebuilt by Tim, distributor by Glenn) _________________ Caleb

| Does it have an electromagnetic pilot (idle) jet? That might be sticking or plugged. |

Not sure, I need to dig into the specifics of the carb but I am thinking about taking the jets out and cleaning them... _________________ Caleb

I’ve never need a 30pict-1 with one. Did some actually have them? _________________ 1960 Indigo Blue Ragtop (Blue Barry)

| My 30pict1 on my 67 has the idle solenoid. To the op, you might check the tuning guide to the carb and start from scratch. Make sure the electric choke is hooked up and adjusted correctly. Blow jets out, make sure bowl is clean etc |
