I’m still trying to figure out what’s going on in that photo. The guy and two women were riding in the KG? Is that really possible? Or is it an episode of Mannix with the detective riding along with the cop? Or is this just one of John Moxon’s mockups? _________________ 1973 Porsche 914 2.0

I wonder who took the picture, and why? Interesting spot from where the photographer is standing, and I also like that there is a white Corvair in the shot. Pretty strange picture. I like it a lot though. |

My scenario:
There was a fender bender, and the couple on the left, showing obvious disdain for Volkswagens, hit the poor woman Karmann Ghia driver with some Detroit behemoth parked out of view. It's obvious Volkswagen persecution, and once again, the VW driver is victimized by the uglo-American car drivers.
Can you tell I'm a VW partisan? _________________ We are striving for perfection, to make our cars run forever, if possible.

Nah. Persecuted for being blonde in charge of an automobile and obstructing traffic by distracting other drivers. _________________ Festina lente - hasten slowly

A blonde in charge of a Karmann Ghia - an obvious case of driving too fast for all those curves. |

No one saw the big dent in the right rear fender? She obviously clipped the car of the man standing next to the trooper. His car is stopped just out of frame. _________________ Prosit!

Nah.
They struck her.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
Anyway …

I didn't think there was a vehicle that provided less protection to the politicians riding in it than the open roofed Lincoln Continental presidential limousine in which JFK was assasinated.
I was wrong. |
