The shop we ended up using for the engine rebuild was Earl Mann's Bug Shop in Ardmore, OK. Rick Mann done most of the work and we are totally satisfied with it.

My grandson's and I removed the motor from the buggy, delivered it to Ardmore, picked it up when completed, installed and it fired right up. Running strong ever since then.

Posting up an update for the Burro. We added a hitch tube receiver so a cargo rack or trailer can be used. The trailer is for a motorcycle and has a rotating coupler. It's really light and works well.

Finally got the CJ bimini top the way we want it. Added a bar to the middle of it for more head room.
