| Hello, I recently installed an empi front disc brake kit on my 1972 baja bug and they are all the same sized tires all the way around. I have not aligned the front end yet, I have installed a brazilian standard sized front beam. The problem is that the tires on the front are sitting wider apart from eachother than the wheels on the rear. does it have to do with the disc brakes? Do i need to get spacers for the rear drums so the wheels will be aligned with eachother? |

| It shouldn't make any difference on a good 4 wheel alignment machine such as the Hunter. If the mechanic understands alignment angles and knows how to do it you should be just fine. You'd be surprised at how many just look for the numbers to be in the "green" and not realize the relationship of what's what. Always get a before and after printout too. |

A car needs to be a little wider at one end, either front or back, doesn't matter. It makes the car more stable in a straight line. What size tires are on it? _________________ Richard
