Interesting van. What's the access hatch above the D/S rear wheel?

High Top Mounted 12 volts air conditioners
Currently living in the Sonoran Desert .
Questions:
Anyone have experience installing any kind of AC to the AW high-top?
Do you know the weight limit for AW fiberglass high-top?
Advise on installing a 40-70lb unit, bracing supports, etc?

Ive got eyes on a westy and a AW top. If all pans out, it should get posted here soon with a build thread. Funny, that reminds me of visiting my friend in SF in the late '80s. He had a white '70 single cab with a 1776cc and dual Dellortos. His place was somewhere North of Mission around 10th and Folsom. On that same street just like a block up was another white '70 single cab with a 1776cc and dual Dellortos. Both trucks also had WA plates and were originally from the Seattle area. The two owners didn't know each other. _________________ Casey--
