Has anyone seen a steering wheel cover like this one? The owner said she bought it on theSamba years ago. I'd love to find one like it!

Yes, mostly in Germany when I worked there 40 yrs ago. I checked some old ads for Vilem B. Haan, MG Mitten, and JC Whitney (glutamodo has many VW pages scanned in his gallery) and did not see this cover with the flat snaps.
Is that your photo of your oval, or one from somebody's gallery? Great to see one "pedaling hard" instead of cowering in the right lane at 60 mph. |

I don't think this is an Australian car - LHD.
Plus if we travel at 3 k's over the speed limit we get life in jail. |

I have purchased several from a Co. Here in California, Wheelskins .
Checkout their website, you can order samples..perforated or non..there made from leather and you stitch them on…

| I really like these covers and have seen them in white, brown and black. I bought a bunch of them way back in the day and still have them on my cars but have been searching for years now and haven't really seen anything pop up. The ones I have are stamped MADE IN ITALY. |

they show up with a google search for 'coprivolante epoca' but I suspect they are old stock items as retail outlets seem out of stock but they show up on italian ebay and the like...one make is filosak

I agree about hiding the beautiful steering wheel . I never thought about it before I saw this cover. It's not permanent, but oh so comfy and classy.
