|
|
I have a 66 bug that is having electrical problems with the blinkers and wipers. The blinkers will flash a few times and then stop. The wipers used to work intermitantly but quit all together. I do not know if this is all part of the same trouble, but when driving at night with my headlights on and I turn the blinkers on, the car spits and sputters. I have new generator brushes in and also a new voltage regulator. Any help would be great, Thanks!! |

check the wires to see if you are getting good continuity. make sure the connections are clean and that you have the correct voltage. make sure your grounds are good... _________________ MyBuild http://www.thesamba.com/vw/forum/viewtopic.php?t=571921

The flash-a-few-times-then-die blinker syndrome means you need a new relay. It's shot.
Define 'intermittent' for the wipers. Did they make a pass and stop? Change speed? Make three passes and stop straight up? |

at first they would make a pass then stop. Then they needed help from me to go, then they stopped completely. |
