20% sometimes in conservative depending on time they cross the block, usually anything after "drunk-o-clock" which is considered 2pm on is where its gets stupid because thats when TV airing starts...

				| Personally I think that BJ has done more to harm the collector car hobby then anything...and I mean ANYTHING in the past.
Anyone that has a collector car of anykind that is sitting in a barn or returning itself to the earth out in a field with a tree growing through the hood thinks it is worth half of what they see it sell for on BJ....so a car that could be saved if nothing else then for parts sits and rots.

Thanks BJ you killed more cars then the crusher, but you don't care as long as the commissions keep rolling in.

				| I thought 21 windows started with the bigger hatch in back, in 1964... I could be wrong, it's happened before...

I'll be there and checking them out, those Bus's have been commanding some serious money there each year, sad part is 98% of the buyers over pay and never even drive them, nor know that there usually not correct, but they just look all shiney and nice, there just big money collectors, lot of times more money than brains, but they dont really give a shit, they just like being on TV...We send cars to B-J every year, 19 cars and one motorcycle going this year. I very rarely ever buy there unless its very early on the first or second day in Scottsdale where you can get a deal now and then when occasionally something slips through the cracks. Its pretty funny to watch some of these collectors pay some rediculus money,,,,,

				| I agree with Dave, A '63 21 window must be among the "rarest of the rare." It also bothers me to see a deluxe refered to as a "rag top".
Kinda leads me to feel the person selling isn't really into Volkswagens
except for the money. "Rag Top" terminology usually is associated with
 American iron.

				| I have seen things like 79 vw convertibles with two tail pipes pass through BJ as original cars. I take BJ as more in line with say Orange county Choppers. The business is more a back drop for allot of TV BS. | |

Well... Ragtop Bug is pretty standard for the sliding sunroof but I agree this is confusing to American car people who are thinking of a convertible.

Ragtop Bus is abnormal, it's always 21 or 23-Window.

That SC is nice. They sold a hacked-up '57 a few years back for around $18k.

The one with the cut out rear fenders and what looked like an old swing set butchered for tarp bows in the back? Yikes!

				| If they are gonna advertise those busses as restored, the least they could have done was put correct engines in them. I could be wrong but a 63/64 bus should have a 1200 engine not a 1600. And a 56 sc should have a 36 horse. And on top of that, the bus should not be carpeted. but, it does say the bus is "custom." _________________

1963 was the start of the 1500cc SP engines in the bus, as an option, in the USA.
