 Yep that's right! Dyno Don will be attending and Announcing the SEVWA's Big Bug Shootout #7 held at Piedmont Dragway near Greensboro, NC on May 22nd.
We get the pleasure to hear what the West Coast Drag Racers have heard for years!
This event will feature our 3 bracket Classes and the Heads up Turbosmart Pro Outlaw Class. Plus the vendor area and car show.
Gates open at 8am
Time runs begin at noon
Show car registration ends at Noon
$10 Pre-registration $15 day of show
Area for VW only parking.

Hope to see some of you that go to CTS come on up for the Drag Race event on Sunday. Just an hour and a half drive North from Charlotte.
Will be FREE Camping on Saturday evening. |

If you plan to show your car, save $5 by pre-registering! Don't have to pay until day of show. email your info to [email protected]
Don't forget we will have a special guest announcing for the event! Dyno Don. If you don't know who he is, you will by the end of the day. He is a GREAT GUY!
Our Turbosmart Pro Outlaw Heads up class is at this event, along with our 3 Bracket classes with Guaranteed purses!
Remember there will be a special area inside the gate for VW only parking, so bring that canopy, coolers, grill and your VW friends and come have a good time! That is what it is all about!

Info for next weekend!
Track address 6750 Holts Store Road Julian, North Carolina 27283
Saturday Night Camping will be available FREE of charge and we will have Vendor/swap meet set up as well. Gates open at 6pm, please mention at the gate that you are with the VW event and they will direct you to a spot. They do have Test and Tune going on that night, so vendors there maybe racers in your area and if so you will have to wait until they leave before getting in your spot.
Pre-registration price of $10 is open until Wed the 18th. Please go ahead and get yours in. Just send all your information to [email protected] Day of show will be $15
If you wish not to be in the judged car show area, there will be VW only parking inside the gate. Please advise the parking assistant that you wish to be in the non judged area.
We are looking for some volunteers for Judging and parking assistance for the event. You will receive FREE entry for the show for a couple hours of your time! Just send me a PM if you can help us out.
If you have a club, make sure you get your guys together so you can park together inside the event. Make sure to bring your banner to promote your club! If there is a club out there that would like to help host our event, just let us know!

Well it seems that there is a local University Graduation on Saturday night, so ALL the hotels within the area of the Dragstrip are ALL SOLD OUT! One person said it was because of a Local Graduation.
So if you are looking for hotels within a reasonable price, you are going to have to get it before you get to Burlington. Even the ones a little close are over $140!

Did some searching and found that if you Google Hotels around the Greensboro area you can find the reasonable ones at the Wendover Ave Exit. There are several there that range from $49- $79
