I've just registered to the forum in search for new friends, ideas and maybe share some of my ideas with everyone.
First of all, i would like to say that it is quite hard to know a few words in english, since english is not my first language, even more when it comes to beetle parts, but I will try my best to do so.
Sadly I've lost the images when i first got it, but those are pretty much the same, such as exterior and interior but all in bad shape, except from the paint job which was around 3 year old, but all the rest was in quite bad shape:
After thinking alot about what to do, what wheels to get, what height and a few smaller things, ive figured out what to do for now, and pretty much this is what i got so far:
I made the suspension and breaks from start. The suspension in the front got shortened 6cm in each side for fitment and 155/60/15's tyres in front and 195/55/15's on the back
15x7 rims:
Interior:
Bonus with a friend:
I'm up for suggestions, new ideas, feedback, I've made a few changes from those pictures so far, but need to take new pictures, will keep posting from time to time, alot is still going to change on this beetle. Thanks. |

Lots of great VW's still left in Brazil. I was in Caxias do Sul in Feb ~ Mar this year. I couldn't drive for looking at VW's everywhere. |

your car looks amazing. how did you lower it? |
Thanks, really appreciate the feedback, I'm really sorry but i have no idea how i can tell you, the back suspension is original, just lowered it, the front we call it "catraca" its not a fixed suspension, its something like the image, and theres the sleeves to make ita bit more confortable that im using, sorry but i really dont know how to say parts in english.

Indeed there are alot of vw aircooled and such over here, people tend to take a good care of them and raise their value, not only in price, but they really care about their rides, i live in Curitiba, not sure if you're aware about it, we have here the "Dia nacional do fusca" which is the nacional beetle day, but alot of bus and any aircooled types come to the event, i will try to find some videos and pictures to show! |

it is pretty much original for now, 1600 tork turbo, 2 solex 32's carburators, 32/36 turbine, and a straight piped exhaust, and one fake exhaust just for the looks, also changed the clutch for a 2.0 ap one, (ap is a kinda of motor that is made on some vw's n brazil). I'm sorry about my english, its not very good when it comes to engine parts. its delivering me 125hp, pretty fun i'd say for now.
Btw you can't see the turbine, its hidden, wanted to make it more clean as possible, still working on that, im up for ideas, would love to see what you guys think or may be able to suggest |
