I am going to reupholster some non-VW seats I’ve had in my 67 Bug for the last 25-30 years. The size and shape are similar to the 77-79 seat with the “molded foam” and separate headrests (Rabbit seats?). Does anyone know the actual or rough dimensions of the different bug, rabbit or ghia seats? I’d like to start with an appropriate vintage pattern or basket weave material and just modify an existing upholstery kit. These seats fit great and have lots of levers and adjustments but still don’t look like they’re supposed to be in a Ferrari instead of a Bug.
