I purchased a new 6 wire turn signal replacement switch only for my 1956 Bug. It was not made in China (I think it said made in Denmark). The dogs that stick out are substantially shorter than my original unit and it is not catching on the turn signal cancelling ring on my original steering wheel. It also seems really janky if that's the right word and one soldered wire already came off....The only reason I needed a new one is that my old one wouldn't stay engaged on the left turn. I am using my original case. Should I try and find a working original switch on the classifieds? Is this par for the course with some of the aftermarket parts now? That's my bug -- Prairie Beige restored I in 1986..and in storage until now...Thanks! Ann
