New Air Cooled Mechanic in Upstate NY--anyone have reviews?

I wonder if anyone has used Mike in Ballston Spa for air-cooled repair? We have met, and he was willing to come to me about 45 minutes to check out my poorly running car, so lots of points for that. He is young, earnest and seems very knowledgeable, but I have a lot to do on my car. Trans for sure, and engine possibly. Before I leap in, I wonder if anyone has had experience with him. I do plan to ask him for referrals, but I wish not to offend. Don't have many choices up here.

If this is Mike S who works in a garage in Schenectady, and a place a bit north of Ballston Spa, you don’t find a better guy in the Capital region. On top of any air cooled repair he is a full up welder too. I think I’ve done about 8 projects with home since we first met in 2016

You will find he is backed up 4-6 weeks fixing stuff other mechanics have botched. He is probably the most mechanically savant guy I have ever met.
