Well, Bob Tomlinson, of 360 Eastgate Drive, Danville, IL, 61834 (where the house key is under the flower pot by the back door, and the garage door opener is always left in the console of your wife's Toyota which she parks outside and always forgets to lock, and you have no home alarm system whatsoever, and you'll be on vacation in Cancun the first two weeks of March), that is an excellent question.

Good luck with that.

These things can be a right pain, I take my hat off to the factory workers who did this and many other seemingly impossible tasks. This is how I did mine, aligned the push studs to match the door holes one at a time, clipped gently to the felt and re-checked the position before tightening fully. Next, adjusted the little claw thingy's so they would be snug in the holes. Popped into place and discovered that the damn thing was as sloppy as a dick in a shirt sleeve! Scratch head, light cigarette, swallow beer and curse. Go indoors and kick the dogs, watch soccer match in sullen silence. Went to the local bar and bragged about how well project 57 is coming along. Idea Favorite fix idea for trim came to mind, clear silicone!!! Being slightly ? toasty didn't help with accuracy, but it cleans up easily, I removed the felt and applied the clear silicone to the rear edge, used about ten clothes peg halves to wedge the felts tight against the door lip and voila!! snug as you like. Chris.

Hey fellow ghia fanatics.....I am about 90% through a restoration on my 1969 vert but I am doing it virtually by myself...with the exception of a couple of very close friends...anyway...I am at a loss for how to get the felt/chrome thingys into the window slot. They have the little 'button' points that are supposed to plug into the doors window edge...I have tried the recommendations in the KGP&R catalog but alas I am still unable to get the thing to work....any help would be greatly appreciated ! ALSO just a word of advice...when you post a pic of your ride....DO NOT SHOW YOUR LICENSE PLATE AND DO NOT GIVE YOUR VIN....the scum sucking dirtbags that steal our rides are just as able to hack into the DMV or get your address in another way and rip your ride. Thanks again for the help and take care !
