These are for a high roof, not your everyday cargo doors...I've shipped a set of NOS barndoor cargo doors from Argentina for $400 in the past, so $500 is not unreasonable.

Shocked That quite a statement...(or is it another joke that I am missing?) I've found (and bought) very neat parts and buses in South America.

Well more pics are in order, but the bus fundamentally "looks" like a barndoor with lots of DPO modifications on it.

Mr Spooky, why is the drivers door wrong? Doesn't it have the small handle recess which is barndoor only?

Yeah, the price looks high for what it is. You think for that price he would give a little more discription. I did notice that he says the fried eggs and taillight aren't original. I didn't notice that before.

Who cares if it's for sale that thing looks like a major turd, piss poor pics for that price the guy should have 50 pics of every nook and cranny, looks like divits by the windshield wipers which would indicate a later clip rather than just turn signals, twisted pressed front bumper, definetly wrong dogleg or doglegs, wrong drivers door, missing or broken off semaphore, late tail lights, rusted rear corner, rear deck lid and hinge carrier looks totally wiped out and that is what can be made out of 3 crappy pics. Hell the guy probably bought that thing for the equivelant of $250 dollars US pass it on by!

http://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=167009

Found this in the Classifieds. Is it supposed to have the fried eggs and later taillights? Or is it possibly because it's euro model? Also looks like there is evidence of welding on the decklid.
