I messaged "Goldenstatesafaris" on Instagram. I will report back what I hear. The account looks to be just a couple days old. Fingers crossed this is a new viable option. _________________ flossin, tossin, dippin, and trippin |

I saw those too. i emailed and was told they also use the correct style latches though the pics show wing window latches.

I am not familiar, do you have a link? Super interested, but I need to see some real pictures first. _________________ flossin, tossin, dippin, and trippin |

Hi all from the UK. I have a safari set here that I'm trying to I?D.
The frames are the "V" type and the inside gap for the glass and seals is 10mm and the glass is only 4mm.
The glass to frame seals have "feathers" along their length but they now need re-newing, but I can't find out what the maker of these safaris are.
I'll post some pictures as soon as I can work out how to do it but to be honnest, It looks a bit of a task!

At the very least, they claim to use laminated glass! _________________ Some people are so busy being clever they don't have time enough to be wise. |

I'd never heard of them. They appear to have an incorrect flat profile, like Wolfgang, et al. In their pix, I also see two completely different types of latches. Some of the pictures on their site appear to be of real OG safaris, which is a bit misleading. Given that there are so many other proven sources for these, that'd be a hard 'no' from me.

I can't catch a f'in break (well, I guess technically I did). I installed the seal and then latched the window for the first time, and it cracked shortly thereafter. The latches aren't even that tight. The passenger side is fine. A short while later, a second crack appeared, moving right-to-left, but I can't get a good picture of it. At least they're not the cheap tempered glass, which would be all over the floor by now.
