I'd have liked to see photos of the Ghia once/if he finished it. He gave quite some thought about the door shape, with the bottom edge being up high for rocker & body stiffness, and following the character line of the body just above where the double side trim strips used to be. I hope the inner roof was reinforced to carry the hinges and the significant weight of each door.

Since Ghia doors have no window frames, he had to devise some sturdy metal sections to connect the roof portion with the lower section of the door. Likely his door windows did not open, though the inspiration-car Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing did have vent windows.
