Alex should be praised not shunned. While you Nazi's pick apart his ride, he's chuffing some fine fillies in that lavender love machine. _________________ Paul

Also to point out that if it is an owner-installed top, it should also have belly pans to maintain structural integrity. I don't think he's trying to get this thread sent to the rants. Just don't ask him about politics! |
Its all fine, see the little bar in the roof, and the bar behind there heads, just moved that to the rear, and its a compleet steel frame inthere and YES i done that myself, I heard about the belly pans and structrual thing, so far there is nothing wrong with this, thanks for asking anyway, and any comments are always welcome about safety though! _________________ http://www.hdvwclub.co.uk - Harrogate and District VW Club

Notice in the following picture the lack of a wood frame under the steel frame of the Dormy top.
Was this an "owner" installed top and does this bus have belly pans? |
Alex hasn't finished the interior yet. It had belly pans last time I looked....anyway what is the point of your comment |
Pyro just wants an excuse to show off the work he's done on his bus, installing his dormy top and home-made belly pans. Also to point out that if it is an owner-installed top, it should also have belly pans to maintain structural integrity. I don't think he's trying to get this thread sent to the rants. Just don't ask him about politics! _________________ Shawn

I can appreciate all the hard work and hours and labour put in by anybody to keep these VWs on the road, properly done and no Bondo, hidden under paint , and yes if it gets the next generation interested in these wagons , well done ALex |

Last night at the Proms?? Very English i think you'll find, the prom is actually a concert over here though.
Its older than the hills. Not everything is from America. Junk food and bad TV yes. |
Actually, you'lle find that LAST NIGHT AT THE PROMS is older then America |
