Its all fine, see the little bar in the roof, and the bar behind there heads, just moved that to the rear, and its a compleet steel frame inthere and YES i done that myself, I heard about the belly pans and structrual thing, so far there is nothing wrong with this, thanks for asking anyway, and any comments are always welcome about safety though! Wink

I can appreciate all the hard work and hours and labour put in by anybody to keep these VWs on the road, properly done and no Bondo, hidden under paint , and yes if it gets the next generation interested in these wagons , well done ALex Very Happy

I think it's great what Alex did.
Those kids might never be in the opertunitity anymore to be in a driving splitbus. Cool
Who knows, this might leed to new aircooled VW lovers.
