Wow... That's a 68 or 69, so best case it has sat there since new, which would be 57 years. Can a tree trunk grow that big around in 57 years? |

Hah.... I was thinking of him when I dragged it home. Hinges definitely required some soaking and a bit of heat cycling before I tried to open the door.

Only took about 20 minutes to get it running, though. That surprised me as it's been parked since the early 80s. However, I have not tried to move it under its own power, the driver's seat is held in by carpet. |

I thought the trunk was supposed to be in the front? _________________ 1973 standard, yellow, lowered, 3” narrowed front, 1600 blo-thru turbo w/single dell 15.4@86, so far

Does anyone else follow "5150mxvw" on YouTube? He rescues old ACVWs and gets them running. He's been trying to dig out this 15 window bus for a while, slowly making progress.
