Wow I don't remember seeing that photo before, is that when you found it johnny d. Also what is going on in Germany now, you can PM if you prefer, as my 36 yr old brother lives in Berlin with his girlfriend and barely emails me. He's an artist must be the personality What's a good website for news in Germany?

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Few pics from 2018 to keep things current ……….
Enjoying good company at the BenPon Barndoor Gathering, followed by a little road trip around the Netherlands.
Basking in the summer heat wave at Stonor Park, here in the UK.
And hanging with the Hayburners at Spa.

Hey Maurice! Thanks man What a blast hanging out with you guys at Hessisch dude
Figured either this or Quality Sound has to go really, and I've enjoyed driving QS around Europe so much this summer that I'd like to keep it. We'll see what happens. Love 'em both if I'm honest! I'll let fate decide .............
Take it easy dude. See you soon I hope! |

A few cool pics sent from the photographer (thank Matt https://www.facebook.com/MattDearPhotography) today that show the interior with a lick of grey where there used to be a horrible green KF bulkhead, and the rear window tidied up with some new paint blending. Also found the "80" stencilling under some cream rattle can when we cleaned up the decklid. Nice to see this Portuguese requirement has survived all these years

Kombi looks fantastic Ben! Good luck on the sale, I'm sure you'll do well. Now only if I had a money tree growing in the back she'd be mine. One of my all time favorite buses.

Wow! A huge amount of interest this last week from all over the globe, and of course everyone wanting to know what I'd like to get for her, but no firm offers on the table yet. Of course I'd like as much as I can get for the kombi, but ultimately the best offer takes it ....... and once I shake on an agreeable figure then the deal's done and the bus is gone. Don't be shy |

Thanks Gents. Sadly life circumstances have me considering letting this one go at the moment. We'll see what offers land on the table. It's certainly been a fun few years of ownership

Nice little feature in Septembers VolksWorld C&B. Thought it would be fun to feature two '51s together for a change

I'm not sure myself Ben, but was hoping to take a bus that was a little more "stock". Be nice to get the two of them together one day though for sure |

Saw this on the Ferry at the end of July, taking my 60 up through Northern Europe - currently camping in Gothenberg. Tried to track it down to have a look on the Ferry but it had disappeared behind a sea of Trucks I think _________________ I want a real garage.
