long time, no post! we're all as busy as ever, but still out there...!
good times at a local swap meet recently, missing some members here, but having a blast and looking forward to more vee-dubbin' fun this year and beyond!!

Just a couple winter updates. Not much to do on the 58 this winter just a few things to keep it going.
Here is the main winter project. I just picked up this 69 Beetle from a friend. His Grandpa was the original owner who bought it from Speedway Motors in Victoria BC. He got it from his Grandpa in 81 and built it to what it still looks like today. It was parked in 88 and only brought out a couple times. The only things I've done is replaced the front seats and replaced fluids, seals and brakes. I'm trying to keep it period correct as possible.

and in more recent news...
...at the clubhouse yesterday pre-planning for the Great Canadian VW Show 2014 shenanigans...
avr bbq, drag racing at mission, pancake breakfast, vw cruise, vintage speed & collectables event, show-n-shine dinner and the big show & swap meet!!
looking forward to hanging out at all the GCVWS events with the DVKK, the Strictly German VW Association, the VVWC, the NVWC, the OKVW club, the Sunset Buggy Club, the BulliBoys, the Kootenay VW Society, the Dub Allstars, the Airspeed Community Forum members and all the other cool local and out of town VW fanatics!!!
