Just saw Clyde driving on I-90 heading toward Spokane on Saturday. That's a long way from home and it looked like there was no problem keeping up with traffic. Good job on the build!

| i have to know, how did you raise the suspension on your adventure wagon? ive been doing some research and am thinking about purchasing a 69-79 and am thinking that this is something i would have to do! im not sure if you have a write up about it, ill search your post, but maybe you could give me a heads up as to how difficult it is, thanks in advance, cheers! |

It actually hands pretty well ..... The tires are "D" rated. Heavy duty gas shocks, 1" front swaybar..... The only time it gets weird is in like 30-40 mph side winds...... then you just slow down..... but it's normally pretty solid in a lane.
I got the grill from Mexico....and the upper vent grill from Brazil. Antonio Trejo from Mexico City found it for me. He works at a Vw dealer there.....He advertises on The Samba regularly.... 
Here's a pic of Clydes trailer...... Hauls all the big camping stuff...

2.8 V6 bored .040 over, torquer cam, Edelbrock highrise intake, 4 bbl Holley carb, HEI ignition.....
