Time to update this thread. Even though Ive been side tracked by the 77 bus I have been keeping the T3 happy. Ive added alot of stuff and am at the point where I actualy think it might be to much!

The one thing Ive wanted for a long time was yellow headlight bulbs-Frenchy Style Cool

I know Ive posted the pics but heres a couple anyway.

Ill have to get some gravel guard shots up as they turned out nice. I have also dived into the Bosch duel horn set up. One less NOS pair out there.

Hey, Jason, that would be a nice early Type 3 in the making for that awesome restoration project. It's a good thing you have the time to give her the TLC she deserves. Keep us posted, buddy!

Thanks bro. We have been a bit lean on interesting forums as of late-Im glad you think mine is. Adriel-I just want a new look, not that the flaps are bad.

Ah, thought that is what you said. Now I see the pictures of the hardware, I see why Jimmy was able to make his own. Has gotten me thinking of a down the road project. All this loose gravel really does a number on the paint, but hey, why does that matter when I do not drive it? Wink Laughing

One item Ive always wanted to "redo" was the mud flaps. I have a spare set of sarge stripe nos ones but feel they are a little played out. So I will be installing the nos front rear gravel guards instead. Here are some shots of the rt flap removal.

Those look fine to me, so then going on another project?

Jason, I would also suggest you remove the wipers, as they are in the way for detailing. If you have not done it, be a good time to re-grease the wiper parts.

Looking good, and look forward to the updates. Good reminder of the good time we all had meeting up at the Mexican eatery and the after party at Dave's. Wink
