You call it "rather ugly".
With a better will, you also can say, "form follows function", or a good will, an idea "still not quite consummared work of art".
Or you can regard that car as a very very 356 B prototype, based on a very early pre A. (it seems, they used bolted on hub caps for testing that arrangement for testing) |

| ^ That's probably a collapsible bike. Note the long clamp levers for the seat and handlebar stem. Also, the top frame tube seems to have a joint just above her bracelet. |

Anyone know where this was taken? I'm thinking it was somewhere along the shore... |
Midget Twins gas station in Taunton, Massachusetts (Route 138), owned by Edward Donat Poirier and Edeas Romeo Poirier, operated from the 1940s through the 1970s. Edward was known as "Fats”, and Romeo as "Toody". The twins ran the service station together for 36 years, with Edward continuing on after his brother's death. Toody passed away on May 25, 1978, at the age of 59. Fats passed away on January 11, 1986, at the age of 67. The brothers had lived together at 299½ Broadway in Taunton, across the street from their service station.
