Wow I'm sorry you sold it but glad to hear it is going to a good home. I hope Philipp Nusch will continue your thread. Any update photos?

Now the 6 years of contract time has passed...less then a month left now. Me and my now exwife have sold the panel to Philipp Nusch in Germany, a well knowned fellow at the Hazet Werk.
They come and collect the panel this following week. Live a good life back home now! |

Have you considered simply starting with a nicer bus? I don't know what your skills are, but the race is easier if you can see the finish line. If you are not a runner, don't start off doing a marathon. |

Wow, this is one of my favorite restored buses I've seen lately. I'd love to have a bus like that. Great job and cool that Hazet helped you out to get it right. _________________ Richard

yep, looks awesome. Only the tires are a little small. |
Yes...front tires got to be in the wrong profile. I ordered the wrong size....got 65s, when its 80s in the back. I will change them into Continentals in the right dimensions when I get it back home again.
No...no tools in the back. But I am working on it, I have found an old style of wooden interior with a lot of room for tools, for example.
But all my NOS Hazet tools went with the bus to Germany, so I'll just have to find some more of them. |
hope you are not a tool snob now? Gedore makes nice tools too |
Oh no...I know that Gedore do nice tools....I've got about 130 NOS tools made by Gedore also. |

Very nice restoration. Are you planning on adding hub caps? |
Yep, non logo dark blue hub caps. Just being there, not sticking out.
I told them that they had forgotten the tire pressure markings, and ofcause...those will be added too. |

Sweet! When does the lowering begin? haha |
Not ever. I have allready saved it from that dreadful life. I have changed gearbox from a straight axle bug gear to a reduction gear from a 1967 bus. And the flipped front spindels are gone now and stock height spindels with CSP vented disc brakes are mounted....so, now more of that low life here.
I do not need to be one of the crowd, I go my own way. |
