Thanks!
Jackstar: Top is done in a rustoleum semigloss white paint rolled on. its super easy and looks pretty good. not show quality but i use my bus alot and can easily do touch ups if needed.
Zoobum: My seats had the canvas on there when I took the og plaid off, so I figured I'd replace it in kind when redoing the seats. Seats are so worth the money and so much more comfortable. _________________ Sam

Congrats on the new born!
The bus is coming along nicely! I like what you did with the canvas under the seat pads (I'm stealing that idea) |

Got a 79 P27 that is in the end stages of restoration. What did you use on your tops? Paint? gel coat? Moon dust? Thanks.
By the by, that is just too sick your family has a family of 76's. That is just cool.

Well I got these for Xmas. A sweet little baby girl named Ruby and new front seat upholstery! Had to replace some pieces from a donor seat. Wolfsburg West pads and seat stand mats. Busy busy!

Thanks Bala. I wish i could make it to the BBBB so bad... but my wife and i are expecting a baby girl on the 27th. Please, please take pictures and share. I'm super jealous. |
Well, congrats!
Many pictures will be taken! I have my grandfather's old 35mm Konica circa 1976-1978 that I will put a few rolls through, plus lots of digital shots I'm sure. _________________ 1976 Westy

Awesome stuff!
There's a Big Bend trip in the works. We're heading out the day after Christmas. More details in the "Events" section here (it's pinned at the top) and over at aircoolers.org. It'd be cool if y'all could make it! _________________ 1976 Westy

Thanks for asking, been camping mostly. Runs great still, just one roadside repair that turned out to be bad points! Here's a few pics of what's been happening. I'm packed and headed out to go camp with the family for thanksgiving!
Ps: yes be jealous everyone of the Gene Berg shifter... By far the best thing I've added!

got the racks installed!
yakima 1a towers with side loader raingutter brackets and 66 inch bars.
i hated drilling holes into the top but its worth it. bars are spaced 36 inches apart as that was the max distance recommend for cargo boxes/baskets.

We're going to Pedernales Falls this coming weekend for my son's school camp out! |
Thanks Bala! Had a blast up there. Campsites 14 and 16 were my favorites. We stayed at 7 and 9, they were pretty good as well. |
And to think I could've been the fifth! _________________
