Is that Dumb? |
If you mean the "DPO", we tend to use that not only if "Dumb" or "Damned", but also if "Dear". Since it is a nicely useful addition going with "Dear" in this case.
On the other hand same DPO added in a ceramic 120 AC light bulb base on the ice cooler box. So if one is tall enough sitting in the rear jump seat they could end up with broken glass bulb shredding up the left side of ones head. Even with the bulb removed that ceramic bulb base could still do some damage. So that is definitely a "Dumb" PO add on. _________________ In Stereo, Where Available! |

That is an owner installed can opener. Not factory equipment. |
Definitely! DPO of our Westie installed a shelf to the cabinet that resides above the spare tire to utilize that wasted space. |
Mine has a shelf above the spare tire as well. _________________ .

Thanks! I was gonna ask why the door dropped onto the seat. I kinda thought it was for extra counter space. Didn't even think about cooking in the bus.

Yup, or turn the cabinet to allow for indoor cooking.

You should hear the sweet tone on my Bug!
Here’s the difference between a “regular” size muffler and the $30 Cherrybomb!
Liked it so much that I used one for the Dormy too!

All the cool kids are running 34/3s on their small builds.
I have one on my 1800, it's modified with bigger jets and Venturi but running a stock exhaust. I keep thinking I should step up to a bigger exhaust though but want something that is close to as quiet as stock. _________________ Go Reds! Smash state!

Your paint blends are amazing. Can you give me a little detail about how you make it look so good? |
I used pre mixed two stage paint from cans. I would add multiple coats to the new metal and lightly fog around those areas with both the base and the clear.
afterwards I would hit it with 2000 wet paper and then polish and wax it. _________________ Your Vanagon sucks, Stop waving at me.
