Thanks guys
Yep pretty stoked to be driving this bus after a 10 yr resto
And the motor is crazy cool considering it started life as a 2.1 water boxer converted back to air cooled |

Thanks for the positive comments guys cheers
Well I finally got my RWC done here in Victoria and once I pick up my plates we are officially on the road
Now that the bus has been passed we can make a few changes like height and twin carbs back on. Went with the stock look while it was getting inspected
Nothing to see here just a stock 1600
Now I can get back to building my hopefully quick change camping interior for it |

Beam working going on between myself and my mate who’s building it for me
And that about brings us upto date on progress
The bus is due to go my mates workshop in a weeks time for running gear install
Exciting times to finally get to this stage
Beams almost finished
Box been done for a year or so
Motor has had a dry build to get tinware to fit ( pics to come )
Can’t wait to have that first drive |
