Here, in archives, the type 26 is for single cab or double cab. Is right EverettB?

Yes, that is correct and early ones have the 26-16 on the VIN plate.

Also everything that ronjohn above said, you have a very early Double Cab, it would great to see some photos.

The earliest double cabs were coded 261 like a single cab instead of 265 like a double cab. The photo above is a m code plate frame a October 1958 double cab. Does your bus still have the m code plate? Does your bus have belly pans or the remnants of belly pans. The really early double cabs came with belly pans. Please share some pictures with us, we would love to see them.

what do you actually have? a single cab?

the vin number is also on the body, make sure it matches
