Just to participate...
One dream would be built in 4 corner hydraulic jacks
so I could jack it up any time any where, change a tire or peep at the leaks...but then another dream is a vanagon without coolant leaks. Sounds like a 911 engine swap dream.
A realistic dream is AC.
Installing nut-serts or riv-nuts in every hole with a sheet metal screw. Every damn hole.
I'm starting with the gate bumpers.
Just remember though, these words of wisdom
https://youtu.be/QcxWxNO8idc
Except for a transmission that's kinda basic everyone needs that.
Is it a dream mod if it can be done or is it only a DM is it's near impossible ?
If it's only for dreams I'd go back in time and sneak a stack of stainless steel sheets in the pile heading for doka production, all the guages needed to produce an entire doka and it's stamped suspension parts. 304 is fine. |

Easy to source, mod, install, OE low mileage or new transaxle.

Eh, not hassling with loading up a car with a tent, camp stove, and water jugs for spur of the moment trips was already a dream come true.
I guess I'd settle for an easy to install upgraded gas tank (no saddle/hoses and greater capacity) and some functional skid plates for a 2WD engine/trans. _________________ '91 Westfalia GL Automatic (GTA "Turbo" Rebuild w/Peloquin) and 2.3L GoWesty Engine |

Guilty as charged.
