Forgot to add this pic of my 83 year old young uncle. He rallied hard. I learned a lot. Huge smiles and also scared me pretty good. Showed me what she can do. She don’t roll, and you won’t dare do that stuff in a RZR Lol.
45 years since I was at sand mountain with my uncle. He didn’t skip a beat. And he rolls bear foot.

Thinking about ditching the muffler and going with a stinger for a touch more hp. Any opinions on this idea? Not looking for 40, but I’d take 2-4 if I could. Riding 2 up is a power soak. |

I’m fighting with the tach. The one the po had installed wasn’t reading correctly and the one I got just pegs out. I’m hooked to the neg side of the coil. Got some 10k .5w resistors coming. Hopefully that will help. |

I cut off the straight ends and replaced them with 90deg ends on the lightning ropes, made it a lot cleaner. They'd probably be out of your way better. I got everything off of amazon for under 20 bucks. |
Not sure what lighting ropes are. |

Got a little work done on it this evening. I’m going to make another top with a rack for my backwoods adventures, but I like this one for the sand. It will be made with 1” AL pipe and have a similar plate footprint. I’ve got to finish the console and get some wiring done next.

If you're looking for more cargo space for backwoods adventures, don't forget the front deck. I have my spare tire and a luggage rack on the front deck of mine. I made the luggage rack out of 3/4" PVC pipe. . |

I looked at that, I’m going to 45 the corners off. Looking at it again, I’d do a triple fold on the ends of the roof and cope it for the pipe. I’ll do that on V 2.0 roof rack. |

I really like those GPS speedos , ive used them on a few builds. recently found on that's the size of a normal 52mm gauge!
I think id rework that huge pod though, one good hard bounce and your shin is going to me into that corner and even if it doesn't lay it open its not going to feel good _________________ "how am i supposed to torque the rear wheel nut to 250 ft lbs??? " - clonebug

It’s actually copper line. I kinda get why they did it, to route it close to the fan shroud and have no rubbing issues, but it seems like one solid line would have less potential issues.
Got an aluminum air cleaner housing coming, the current stamped one looks a little cheap and feels sloppy.
Anyone know what fuel pump I have there? Guessing alternator style. I’m putting a kit together for my Offroad adventures and would like a spare.

I always like picking up a new buggy and seeing what ppl do and scratching your head trying to figure out why. like the rubber fuel line to metal line ( which looks like brake line ) then back to rubber. I get it if you were out an a rubber line got damaged but other than that why add a section of metal line especially a small one like that _________________ "how am i supposed to torque the rear wheel nut to 250 ft lbs???
